In fall of 2004 CVT embarked on an ambitious adventure: mapping the wealth of outdoor recreation destinations in the Comox Valley. The end result is a beautiful full size topographical map of the Comox Valley with detailed information on hiking and biking trails, nature viewing, regional and provincial parks, urban greenways, swimming areas and diving sites. Also included are 3 inset maps of our 3 municipalities, business listings for food, accommodations, galleries and theatres and recreation outfitters. The purpose of this map is to encourage visitors to stay another day in the Comox Valley. It's also a great tool for local residents playing tour guide when friends and family come to the Comox Valley.

The Recreation Map of the Comox Valley is available at the Comox Valley Visitor Infocentre and the Cumberland Visitor Infocentre and through participating businesses and organizations including Mike's Bike's, Simon's Cycles, Kingfisher, Mount Washington, Mountain Meadows, Valhalla Pure Outfitters, Dodge City Cycles, Riding Fool Hostel, Tarbell's Cafe, Old House Restaurant, Extreme Runners, City of Courtenay, Regional District of Comox Strathcona and Village of Cumberland.
